The Omni Detroit Hotel at River Place is Detroit's own secluded oasis nestled in the quaint River Place District of downtown. The historical property reflects the beauty and sophistication of a European, boutique style hotel, while providing business and leisure travelers with AAA Four Diamond services and amenities. The hotel's fitness center featuring cardiovascular and aerobic equipment, free weights, elliptical and stationary bikes, tanning booth and locker rooms is located in a separate building across courtyard. The deluxe guestrooms are lavishly decorated in an European style décor. Amenities include plush bathrobes, executive work desk and free, high speed wireless Internet access. Room service is available 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Guests may choose to dine on site at Fender's Dining, a Motor City style featuring plasma televisions and a pool table. The Waterfront Lounge offers a beautiful setting on the river, and it is open daily during the season. Renovation Notice: The hotel's pool, spa tub and sauna are currently closed for renovations.
